In the most characteristic
of Kilessopoulos' works, the viewer is compelled to observe the inter-weaving
of colours and forms, and transported to a magical world. What is most
impressive is the musical expression introduced onto the pictorial
surface. One has the impression of listening to the colours playing a secret
symphony, which lends the composition a diachronic aspect. Eschewing any
return to familiar and established forms, Kilessopoulos' artistic expression
pulsates with cosmogonic power.

We are drawn into a fascinating sequence
of technical evolution and expressive integrality. Creation and destruction,
motion and immobility, Love and Death: these are the elements both of individual
fate and of the drama of the universe. In the drawings we are aware of
a very fine and sensitive hand which has created the structural skeleton
as a guiding thought which affirms and analyses the grandeur of the architectural
construction of the oils.
