The final brushstroke, firm and precise, shatters the picture, making it look as if the surface is cracked. The colour gives way to the design in such a way as to reveal the forms, which border between the representational and the abstract. The dialogue between design and colour is attended by a music elaborated by the artist himself, based on phrases from Symphonies by Mahler and Berio, phrases which are interrupted by, or merged with electronic sounds. Just like these sounds the colours in each individual picture are also summoned and respond, with a different sensitivity and dynamic in each case.
